Items are brand new, in original packaging. The IMAX Intenze Beachcaster is the new updated and improved version of the very popular Ron Thompson Axellerator. Crafted from IM7 carbon for a truly superb action and suitable for extreme distance casting.

The rod has a fairly stiff action but the tip has just enough give to sit nicely in the tide and also register bites. Casting performance is good and with even the restricted casting arc often needed on rock marks the rod is capable of casting heavy sinkers with large baits a considerable distance. The rod is finished with Fuji BMNAG Alconite guides, shrink tube handle and a sliding'coastal' style screw winch.
