The 12' 9 3.5lb (50mm) Distance encompasses the iconic length and action of the benchmark 3.25lb 40mm model but with extra reserves of power, particularly in the butt section, to provide a faster, more steely blank. This additional power along with the 50mm to 16mm rings make a serious casting machine and distances of 150m+ can be achieved. The rod will handle a wide range of leads and big PVA bags can be fished with confidence.

In spite of its power, this rod retains excellent fish playing properties and enough shock absorption in the tip to prevent hook pulls.
