This particular Flex model is built with the narrow blank wrapped handle, very popular among hybrid fisherman. The narrow handle is preferred for use in types of boat rod holders. Meat Hunter rates flex rods as heavy action but with the lighter tip we rate it as a Medium Heavy action.
