With the Potenza Hardcore Vega have created a slim and light weight surf rod which offers a surprising amount of power. This is mainly down to the ultra Hi Tech Hi Modulus SHM Nano carbon blank which gives the lower two sections of the rod all the power you need to blast to the horizon.

The fittings are of good quality and complement the quality of the rod. Rings are low profile Fuji Alconite low riders and the reel is held in place with a Fuji DPS screw winch. Supplied in a quality semi rigid case. This high-end fishing rod is Vegas Flagship rod for surf casting in 2015. The low diameter blank is made of ultra-high modulus carbon made with nanotechnology.

The first 2 sections of the rod are powerful for casting, while the hybrid tip section enables a smooth and gradual transition between the tubular blank and solid tip without any loss of sensitivity. The solid hybrid tip has a diameter of 4.1mm and 2mm on its base at the top end, allowing great versatility in its use. The finish is of the highest quality, including soft touch handles, aluminimum spigot reinfocements along with a high gloss paint. The rod is fitted with the best quality fittings from Fuji, including Low Rider Alconite guides and a DPS Reel seat.
